Aerotech offers a variety of direct-drive rotary stages designed to meet a wide range of applications. All Laser Edge rotary
stages utilize brushless, slotless, direct-drive motors. The direct-drive feature of these stages provides superior speed and
acceleration capabilities when compared to worm- and screw-based designs. Brushless operation allows continuous 24/7
maintenance-free operation while the slotless motor construction exhibits zero cogging for ultra-smooth velocity regulation.
These high-performance rotary stages feature outstanding velocity, wobble and runout specifications unattainable in worm
drive and screw-based stages. Various mounting, encoder, slip ring, and rotary union options are available.
